Artificial intelligence, digitization, and data management lead panel on technology applied at SIAVS 2026

The digital transformation of animal protein production will be one of the highlights of the technical program at SIAVS 2026 Congress. On the day August 4 (Tuesday), the 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, a Room 115 will receive the Technology Panel Applied to Process Optimization, bringing together experts to present solutions that are modernizing supply chain management, increasing operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

From the digitalization of public services to the use of artificial intelligence in industry, the panel will show how new technologies are being incorporated into the daily lives of animal protein companies. The advancement of connectivity, automation, and data analysis is enabling gains in productivity, traceability, process standardization, and competitiveness, topics increasingly present in the sector's strategies.

With moderation of Giankleber Diniz, yes Vero Consulting, the programming will begin at 2:30 PM with the talk “MAPA Digitization”, administered by Camilo Mussi, yes Secretariat of Information Technology (STI/MAPA). The presentation will address the advancements promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in the digitalization of processes and services, highlighting how these initiatives contribute to greater agility, integration, and transparency in the relationship between the productive sector and public authorities.

To 3 p.m., Carolina Coutinho, yes Ecotrace Solutions, will present the lecture “Use of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision in Carcass Classification”, showing how algorithms and intelligent systems are being applied to increase the accuracy of evaluations, reduce losses, and standardize industrial processes. The use of these technologies represents one of the main modernization movements in the processing of animal proteins.

Closing the panel, at 3:30 PM, Luiz Ugeda, yes SPLAW – Spiewak, will lead the lecture “Data Management in Animal Production”, highlighting the importance of integrating information throughout the production chain. The presentation will address how the strategic use of data can support faster decisions, improve production indicators, and strengthen operational management, from the field to the industry.

Aimed at managers, industry professionals, technology companies, researchers, and innovation specialists, the Panel on Technology Applied to Process Optimization demonstrates how digital transformation has ceased to be a trend and has consolidated as a competitive advantage in animal protein production.
