He holds a degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from the Mauá Institute of Technology (2001) and a PhD in Automation from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2015). He is a postdoctoral researcher at POLI USP. He works as a researcher at GAESI POLI USP and as a professor in the Internet of Things MBA program at PECE POLI USP.
