ABPA event expands its exhibition space by 651 square meters and is expected to attract visitors from more than 60 countries in São Paulo 

The International Poultry and Swine Protein Fair (SIAVS 2026), promoted by ABPA, is preparing for its largest edition ever. Scheduled for August 4, 5, and 6 at the Anhembi Convention Center in São Paulo, the event will feature an expanded exhibition, immersive attractions, an enlarged technical agenda, and increased international participation. 

The 2026 edition will feature 45,000 square meters of exhibition space, a 65% increase over the previous edition. It is expected to attract more than 31,000 visitors and companies from over 60 countries. 

In 2024, SIAVS welcomed over 30,000 visitors and 317 exhibitors, solidifying its position as a key meeting point for the global animal protein chain. 

“O SIAVS accompanies the growth and transformation of the Brazilian animal protein sector, expanding its role as a strategic space for business, innovation, technical debates, and international relations,” states ABPA President Ricardo Santin. 

Fair expands company presence and immersive experiences 

The fair will bring together companies from different segments of the production chain, including animal health, genetics, nutrition, automation, logistics, industrial equipment, and technology. 

Among the new features planned for this year is the “Supermarket without animal protein,” a conceptual installation created to visually and interactively demonstrate the impact of animal protein on the daily supply of the population. 

Another attraction will be the SIAVS Biosafety Experience, an immersive environment focused on presenting the sanitary protocols adopted by the Brazilian chain and the prevention practices used by the sector. 

Technical content will be central pillars of the event 

In addition to the business fair, the SIAVS will feature a parallel technical program bringing together national and international experts in conferences, forums, and panels. 

The agenda will cover strategic topics for the global animal protein chain, such as avian influenza, biosecurity, artificial intelligence applied to animal production, industrial automation, sustainability, ESG, international trade, logistics, and technological innovation. 

Among the spaces dedicated to content will be SIAVS Talks, an environment focused on debates about trends, challenges, and opportunities for the sector. Furthermore, the event will feature initiatives such as the Producer Project, aimed at integrating rural producers into the main discussions and technologies of the sector, and the ABPA Merit for Applicable Research, an initiative that recognizes scientific research and technical work with potential impact on poultry, swine, and animal protein production. 

International agenda strengthens business and image of the Brazilian sector 

The international programming will be carried out in partnership with ApexBrasil and will include actions aimed at strengthening trade relations and the image of Brazilian animal protein abroad. 

Among them is the Buyer Project, which will promote business rounds between Brazilian exporters and importers from strategic markets in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the European Union. 

The event will also feature initiatives aimed at fostering closer relationships with rural producers, researchers, international journalists, and opinion leaders involved in topics such as food, sustainability, and food security.
