ABPA President and industry representative formalize participation at Brazil’s largest animal protein event

JBT Marel, a global player in food processing technology, has confirmed its participation in the International Animal Protein Exhibition (SIAVS), the largest animal protein event in Brazil. The event will take place from August 4 to 6, 2026, at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo, Brazil.

The new exhibitor’s participation was officially confirmed during a meeting attended by the President of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Ricardo Santin, together with SIAVS Commercial Director José Perboyre and ABPA Technical Director Sula Alves. 

JBT Marel’s entry into SIAVS, with an exclusive area dedicated to the exhibition of equipment and new technologies, marks the launch of a new partner category at Brazil’s largest animal protein trade fair: the exhibition of technologies focused on agroindustry production lines. 

“This is a milestone for SIAVS, which now brings together virtually all supplier segments of the animal protein production chain, in addition to the producing and exporting agroindustries of the sector. This is a key differentiator of the event,” highlights ABPA President Ricardo Santin.
