Enzymes gain ground at SIAVS 2026 as a tool for cost reduction and efficiency gains

Advanced solutions expand nutritional utilization and contribute to production competitiveness

São Paulo, May 07, 2026 – The use of enzymes in animal nutrition will be one of the technical highlights of the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2026), which will take place from August 4th to 6th, at the Anhembi Exhibition Center, in São Paulo (SP). With a growing role in the formulation of more efficient diets, these solutions are being incorporated into production strategies as a tool for cost reduction and optimization of zootechnical performance.

Specialized companies will present enzymatic technologies at the event aimed at better utilization of feed nutrients, with a direct impact on feed conversion and productive efficiency. The use of enzymes allows for greater digestibility of ingredients, reduction of losses, and better utilization of raw materials, especially in scenarios of input volatility.

Featured applications include enzymes such as phytases, carbohydrases, and proteases, used to increase phosphorus availability, improve fiber digestion, and optimize protein utilization. These technologies contribute to more precise and economically efficient formulations, in addition to reducing nutrient excretion and the environmental impacts of production.

The advancement in the use of enzymes also accompanies the evolution of precision nutrition, with solutions increasingly tailored to different production phases and farming systems. At SIAVS, these technologies will be integrated into an environment that combines nutrition, health, and processing, allowing for an applied view of the gains throughout the entire chain.

The presence of these solutions reinforces the technical character of the event by offering producers and agribusiness direct access to tools that impact cost, productivity, and sustainability.

“Enzymes play an increasingly important role in the efficiency of animal production. They are solutions that allow us to extract more value from inputs and improve productive performance, with a direct impact on the sector's competitiveness,” highlights ABPA's president, Ricardo Santin.

In addition to the fair, SIAVS's technical program will include discussions related to precision nutrition, the use of additives, and strategies for optimizing costs in animal production.

The SIAVS 2026 will span 45,000 square meters, a 65% growth% compared to the previous edition, and is expected to bring together hundreds of exhibiting companies and visitors from over 60 countries.
