Aviagen Latin America demonstrates commitment to Latin American poultry production at SIAVS 2024

Continuous investments, the growing success of Ross® 308 AP and celebrations alongside key customers were the main highlights during SIAVS 2024.

Campinas, Brazil, August 20, 2024 - The Aviagen® Latin America sales and customer service teams® welcomed customers and visitors at the International Animal Protein Exhibition (SIAVS 2024), held from August 6 to 8 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil. Brazil is the second largest poultry producer in the world, making SIAVS a key event for expanding discussions on the future of poultry production in Latin America.

SIAVS served as an ideal platform for Aviagen to stand alongside customers and industry colleagues, reinforcing its dedication to the Latin American poultry industry through continuous investments and expansions. Ivan Pupo Lauandos, President of Aviagen Latin America, highlighted the company’s strong presence at the event, which attracted customers from across the region, including Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia and other countries.

“Aviagen is committed to the motto ‘Breeding success together’, supporting our Latin American partners in achieving the best results with their birds in their operations,” said Lauandos. “SIAVS took place at a promising time for poultry production, a sector that continues to thrive. Our strategy is to maintain a high level of investment to support the industry and increase the success of our customers.”

Lauandos also reinforced recent and ongoing investments in securing the supply of Ross® 308 AP grandparents and parent stock to meet the demands of a rapidly growing chicken meat market. “Ross birds are the best choice for producers in Latin America due to their excellent feed efficiency, growth rate and high viability,” he added.
