The initiative is promoted by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) during the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS), which will take place from August 6 to 8 at the Anhembi District in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year\u2019s edition is exclusively for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Brazilian universities.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research projects related to the following areas are eligible for submission: Production, Management and Housing; Nutrition; Technology, Processes and Public Health; Animal Health; and Environmental Sustainability in poultry, swine, beef cattle and farmed fish production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A judging committee made up of academics and professionals from the agribusiness chain will evaluate the projects based on criteria such as applicability to the production chain and other factors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As recognition for the dedication and excellence of the work carried out, the top ranked paper will receive airfare and accommodation to participate in an international initiative organized by ABPA at one of the world\u2019s largest food trade shows, either Gulfood in the United Arab Emirates or SIAL Paris in France, according to the researcher\u2019s choice. The main authors of the second and third ranked papers will receive gifts as an incentive to continue their research and scientific studies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions will be accepted until May 31. To participate, students must register for the SIAVS lecture program.
