{"id":3449,"date":"2024-04-08T15:57:51","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T18:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/siavs.com.br\/?p=3449"},"modified":"2024-04-08T15:57:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T18:57:51","slug":"with-the-theme-of-sustainable-proteins-combining-competitiveness-and-food-security-siavs-2024-debates-the-future-of-the-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/siavs.com.br\/en\/com-tema-proteinas-sustentaveis-aliando-competitividade-e-seguranca-alimentar-siavs-2024-debate-futuro-do-setor\/","title":{"rendered":"With the theme \u201cSustainable Proteins: Combining Competitiveness and Food Security\u201d, SIAVS 2024 Debates the Future of the Sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Registrations are now open; lecture program will highlight urgent topics and discussions on the future of the production chain<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Registrations are now open for the lecture program of the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2024), the largest event for these production chains in Brazil, which will take place from August 6 to 8 at Distrito Anhembi in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s edition will be \u201cSustainable Proteins: Combining Competitiveness and Food Security\u201d, a topic that guides the sector\u2019s strategic planning developed in partnership with companies producing and exporting animal protein.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ricardo Santin, President of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), SIAVS 2024 will bring together leaders, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders from the production chain on a stage dedicated to technical and economic discussions about the short, medium and long term future of sector sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, panels featuring executives from the largest agroindustries in the production chain, internationally recognized researchers, and political and institutional leaders will take place over the three days of the event, with participation from all segments of the production chain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSIAVS has entered a new phase with the inclusion of beef and farmed fish agroindustries. In this context, ABPA will work together with partner organizations to build the agenda that will guide decision making and strategic planning for agroindustries in these sectors, as well as for poultry, swine and egg production chains.
