The Brazilian Animal Protein Association ABPA will present a competitiveness study of the country\u2019s production chain during the International Poultry and Swine Exhibition SIAVS, the largest event for these sectors in Brazil, which will be held from August 9 to 11 at Anhembi Parque in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/span><\/p>\n

The study will be presented during a panel scheduled for the first day of the event on August 9, in a debate led by ABPA Market Director Lu\u00eds Rua, who will also present the main findings of the survey.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAmong the topics addressed by the study are production cost parameters such as inputs and energy, logistical bottlenecks and other factors, as well as comparative analyses with major global competitors in the poultry, egg and swine sectors,\u201d explains Rua.<\/span><\/p>\n

The panel will also feature the participation of Fabrizio Panzini, Jos\u00e9 Roberto Goulart from Alibem Alimentos, Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f4nio Ribas Junior from Seara Alimentos, and Bernardo Gallo from Cobb Vantress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the panel, the study will be officially presented during the SIAVS opening ceremony by the association\u2019s president, Ricardo Santin.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout its program, SIAVS will address reflections in several areas to advance competitiveness issues. The study that we will present and deliver to the Federal Government during the opening ceremony serves as a guideline that analyzes, from an economic perspective, what holds us back and what gives us an advantage in the international arena, allowing us to build more effective solutions to maintain our position as one of the world\u2019s leading food producers,\u201d evaluates Santin.<\/span><\/p>\n
