Interactive space will feature virtual reality and a journey through the sector’s key attributes
An immersive experience will be the highlight of a space dedicated to offering a deep dive into animal protein production during the International Animal Protein Show, SIAVS, the largest event in the sector in Brazil, scheduled from August 6 to 8 at the Parque Anhembi District in São Paulo.
The SIAVS Experience, as the initiative is called, will provide a virtual immersion into the various stages of protein production, using images captured at Brazilian production facilities, from farms to industrial plants, while also drawing attention to the role of Brazilian protein in global food security.
The experience will begin with virtual reality through SIAVS 360°. In this environment, visitors will be able to take virtual tours of farms and modern animal protein processing facilities in Brazil. The activation will include virtual reality headsets with videos recorded at poultry and swine production units.
After the SIAVS 360° experience, visitors will be invited to walk through corridors featuring panels and videos that show, in practice, the key attributes of Brazil’s animal protein production chain. These include product quality and the technical aspects that ensure it, sanitary status and biosecurity, as well as the sustainability of production.
“We will use technology to integrate experiences and show the attending public, especially those less familiar with production processes, what we deliver with quality, sanitary excellence and sustainability, with full transparency. Brazilian animal protein has a global presence, but many people do not know the reasons behind it. There, they will gain a better understanding,” said Ricardo Santin, President of ABPA, highlighting in particular the presence of stakeholders, students and wholesale and retail clients, among others.
