Brazil’s largest poultry and swine industry event takes part in the Central American Poultry Congress.
São Paulo, June 22, 2023 – The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) launched the second sales phase of the International Poultry and Swine Show (SIAVS), scheduled for August 6 to 8, 2024, at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo, Brazil, during the Central American Poultry Congress, the leading industry event in Central America, which began this Wednesday, June 21, in San José, Costa Rica.
During the event, ABPA President Ricardo Santin and ABPA Administrative Director and SIAVS Commercial Director José Perboyre presented exhibition opportunities focused on business development and deal making at the largest poultry and swine industry event in Brazil.
According to Perboyre, during the first sales phase, exhibitors and partners from the 2022 edition were given exclusive access to acquire exhibition space at the event, which recorded a 35 percent increase in its commercial area for 2024.
“From this point forward, in addition to international promotion, we are also opening sales to new companies seeking business opportunities with Brazil’s production sector. At this moment, more than 85 percent of the available exhibition area has already been sold,” highlights the fair’s commercial director.
According to ABPA President Ricardo Santin, SIAVS will expand its scope in 2024 by incorporating new sectors and strengthening its multiprotein profile.
“SIAVS has expanded its area, now reaching 24,000 square meters dedicated exclusively to the commercial exhibition. We are making a strong effort to further internationalize the event, creating new opportunities for producers, exporters and suppliers from Brazil and from more than 50 countries participating in the event,” explains Santin.
The Central American Poultry Congress is an initiative of the Federation of Poultry of Central America and the Caribbean (FEDAVICAC) and, in this edition, was organized by the National Poultry Chamber of Costa Rica (CANAVIDE).
