Advances in animal nutrition will be highlighted in the technical program of SIAVS Congress 2026. On August 4th (Tuesday), from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Room 114 will host the Applied Nutrition Panel, bringing together specialists to discuss regulatory updates, precision nutrition, and new alternatives for animal feed ingredients.
With moderation by Bruno Caputi, from SINDAN, the panel will open with a presentation on the latest updates in animal feed legislation, a topic that gains importance given regulatory evolution and the growing demand for safety, traceability, and compliance in the production chain.
Next, Mario Penz from the Provimi Group will present the talk “Precision Nutrition,” discussing how the increasingly strategic use of data, specific formulations, and nutritional technologies is contributing to improving productive efficiency, optimizing nutrient utilization, and expanding the sustainability of animal production systems.
Concluding the panel, Herbert Rech, from JBS, will discuss the topic “Raw Material Alternatives in Animal Feed,” bringing perspectives on ingredient diversification, input availability, competitiveness, and the challenges related to supplying the animal protein production chains in an increasingly dynamic global scenario.
Aimed at industry professionals, nutritionists, researchers, ingredient manufacturers, and specialists in the production chain, the panel offers a current overview of the transformations in animal nutrition and its role in the competitiveness, productive efficiency, and sustainability of Brazilian production.
