Abluo, transforming lives through nanotechnology.
From August 6 to 8, the startup Abluo will be present at SIAVS 2024, one of the largest events for poultry, cattle, swine and fish production. Participation in the event represents an excellent opportunity for Abluo to present its nanotechnology innovations aimed at making animal protein production more efficient and safer.
Abluo was founded through a partnership between the São Paulo Institute for Technological Research (IPT) and the company Cecil, standing out as a nanotechnology startup focused on One Health. This concept integrates human, animal and environmental health to prevent and mitigate threats such as pandemics, antimicrobial resistance and climate change, directly impacting food security.
Abluo’s innovations cover the entire animal protein production chain, from hatcheries for chicks and supplements for animal feed to medications for poultry and cattle. The technologies include uniforms with antimicrobial resistance, fungicidal paints and biocidal flooring. Abluo’s key differentiator is its ability to stabilize nanometric particles in a customized manner, adapting these materials to different matrices and processes. The products developed by the company and its technological partners contain unique active ingredients that are safe for the environment. In addition, the powerful action of nanomaterials enables sustainable use by reducing the need for other raw materials, such as secondary fungicides in antimicrobial additives and performance enhancers for animal feed.
During SIAVS 2024, the Abluo team, composed of biologists, biomedical scientists, chemists, engineers and PhDs in nanotechnology, will be available to present the developed technological solutions and answer questions about their applications in the sector. Visit booth 27A in the pavilion. On August 8, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, a lecture titled “Advances in Nanotechnology in the Animal Protein Industry” will be held. This will be an excellent opportunity to explore innovations in the field of nanotechnology applied to One Health within the animal protein industry, among other topics.
According to startup director Rodrigo Fujii, participating in SIAVS is a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships with clients, prospect new business, establish strategic partnerships and follow market trends. “We are confident that our innovative nanotechnology solutions will have a significant impact on the animal protein production chain, promoting safer and more efficient production,” says Fujii.
