Technologies reduce animal mortality rates and increase productivity
Kingspan Isoeste, a global leader in isothermal solutions for the construction industry, will take part in the International Animal Protein Exhibition (SIAVS) 2024, the largest event of Brazil’s production chains, to be held from August 6 to 8 at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo. With more than 5 million square meters of roofing and thermal panels supplied to farms, the company will present its innovative solutions for the poultry, cattle and swine markets during the event.
“Our products use the most advanced technologies to deliver the highest quality solutions for agribusiness. The trade fair gives us the opportunity to present our solutions up close to specialists and industry leaders from around the world,” highlights Fabiano Lima, Commercial Director.
Featured at the company’s stand will be Isoluz and Isotelha Trapezoidal isothermal roofing systems, the Sinergy solar energy generation system, Frigo thermal panels and isothermal doors, among other solutions that ensure proper climate control for poultry houses, pig facilities and cold storage rooms.
“Thermal insulation in farms reduces heat and animal stress, contributing to better feed conversion and lower mortality rates. Our products provide improved environmental conditions, resulting in excellent productivity,” explains Fabiano Lima de Souza.
The results are reflected in an increase of up to 3 percent in egg laying rates and up to 25 percent higher bird density.
Solutions for cold storage and seed facilities
Event visitors will also be able to see Kingspan Isoeste cold room doors designed for different cold storage sizes, as well as thermal panels that, due to their sealing capacity and thermal insulation performance, generate significant energy savings and improved preservation of stored products.
For seed storage, Kingspan Isoeste’s climate controlled chamber ensures seed vigor of 85 percent and germination rates of 95 percent after 30 days of storage. “In a conventional warehouse, after 30 days, these figures drop to up to 75 percent vigor and up to 89 percent germination,” compares Fabiano Lima, Commercial Director.
