The initiative will involve international journalists, buyers and opinion leaders during the largest event in the sector in Brazil.
São Paulo, July 23, 2024. The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) will carry out a series of image building initiatives and actions to foster new business during the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2024), the largest event in the sector in Brazil, scheduled to take place from August 6 to 8 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo.
The first of these initiatives is the Image Project, an initiative that enables the participation of foreign journalists from target markets for Brazilian animal protein exports. In this edition of the project, the participation of 32 journalists from 21 countries is planned, with 19 coming from abroad and 13 correspondents, representing a total of 27 media outlets.
As part of the image initiative, the invited journalists will take part in a specially designed program to showcase the production sector, including visits to SIAVS, participation in sector lectures, press briefings with representatives of ABPA and other organizations, and visits to production facilities of companies in the sector.
Another project planned for SIAVS is the Opinion Leaders initiative. In total, 18 stakeholders from 12 different countries have been invited to attend SIAVS. Among them are leaders and influential figures from key markets for Brazilian animal protein, who will take part in meetings and presentations scheduled during the event.
There is also the Buyer Project. Through this initiative, more than 20 importers of Brazilian animal protein from 15 countries will participate in business meetings and other activities included in the program.
“The three projects carried out in partnership with ApexBrasil have different objectives, but share a common focus: strengthening Brazil’s animal protein sectors, whether by disseminating the real attributes of our production chain or by promoting new business with markets that are relevant to Brazil,” highlights ABPA President Ricardo Santin.
