ABIEC, Friboi and Marfrig Confirm Participation at SIAVS 2024

The Brazilian Beef Exporters Association (ABIEC) and the companies Marfrig and Friboi have confirmed their participation in the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2024), one of the largest events in Brazil’s animal protein production chain. The event will take place from August 6 to 8, 2024, at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo.

During the event, which is promoted by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), ABIEC, the entity representing Brazil’s beef export chain, and the participating companies will have their own dedicated spaces. The event already has confirmation from more than 30 exporting agribusiness companies from the poultry, swine, eggs and farmed fish sectors in Brazil.

At SIAVS, animal protein companies will carry out branding initiatives and meetings with supermarket chains and other retail and wholesale companies in Brazil, as well as with importers attending the event exclusively for business development. In the 2022 edition, agribusiness companies consolidated nearly US$ 550 million in exports during the three days of the event.

Alongside meat processing companies, SIAVS 2024 will also feature the participation of equipment suppliers, biological and pharmaceutical input companies, feed producers, service providers, genetic companies and several other links in the production chain.

In addition to the exhibition area, SIAVS will host an extensive lecture program, bringing together traditional initiatives such as the CEOs Panel with leaders of the country’s largest agribusiness companies, as well as other initiatives focused on technical and market related issues. The event also includes the largest political gathering of the sectors in Brazil, held during the opening ceremony, with the presence of leaders from the national executive and legislative branches.

“SIAVS 2024 represents a historic milestone for the production chains, bringing together beef cattle, poultry, swine and farmed fish sectors in an initiative that seeks not only to promote business and the image of the sector, but also to foster the development of all the links involved in these extensive production chains,” says Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA.
