Improvement solutions boost production performance, standardization, and competitiveness
São Paulo, April 28, 2026 – The genetic basis of animal protein production will be highlighted at the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2026), which will be held from August 4 to 6, at the Anhembi District in São Paulo (SP). With the presence of companies specializing in poultry and swine genetics, the event will showcase solutions that support gains in productivity and quality throughout the chain.
Companies in the segment are involved in the development of lineages and the supply of high-performance genetic material, focusing on characteristics such as weight gain, feed conversion, lot uniformity, and industrial yield. These advancements have a direct impact on the efficiency of production systems and the competitiveness of agribusinesses.
At SIAVS, the topic will be addressed in an applied manner, connected to other areas of the chain. Genetics integrates with nutrition, health, and management strategies, forming the technical foundation that supports productive performance and the standardization required by markets.
Highlights include continuous improvement programs, data-driven selection, and technologies focused on consistency of results at scale. Genetic advancement has enabled more efficient production cycles and greater predictability in operations.
The presence of these companies reinforces the technical nature of the event and expands opportunities for interaction between genetics suppliers, producers, and agribusinesses, focusing on practical application and decision-making.
“Genetics are the starting point for productive efficiency. Consistent gains in performance and quality are structured from it throughout the entire chain,” highlights ABPA President Ricardo Santin.
In addition to the fair, the event will feature a technical program that will include topics related to production efficiency, innovation, and trends for animal production.
The SIAVS 2026 will span 45,000 square meters, a 65% growth% compared to the previous edition, and is expected to bring together hundreds of exhibiting companies and visitors from over 60 countries.
