In total, 32 foreign journalists, 17 importers and 17 opinion leaders took part in the event through the partnership, supporting Brazil’s animal protein sector.
São Paulo, August 16, 2024 - The set of actions structured through the partnership between the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) during the International Animal Protein Exhibition (SIAVS 2024) ended successfully. SIAVS is the largest event for the sector in Brazil and was concluded last week in São Paulo, Brazil.
One of these initiatives was the Opinion Leaders Project. A total of 17 stakeholders from 11 different countries took part in the initiative, including leaders and influential figures from key markets for Brazilian animal protein. A dedicated experience was designed for this group, including meetings and presentations scheduled during SIAVS.
Another initiative was the Buyer Project. Through this project, more than 17 importers of Brazilian animal protein from 15 countries participated in a series of business meetings and other activities included in the official program, generating direct sales for Brazil’s animal protein production chain.
There was also the Image Project, which brought 32 journalists from 21 countries to SIAVS, all target markets for Brazilian animal protein exports. Of these, 19 journalists came from abroad and 13 were correspondents, representing a total of 27 media outlets. They took part in a program specifically designed to showcase the production sector, including visits to SIAVS, participation in industry presentations, press conferences with representatives from ABPA and the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC), as well as visits to production units of companies in the sector.
“SIAVS was the major gathering of Brazil’s animal protein sector, and the broad mobilization across multiple fronts to strengthen image and promote business was decisive in reinforcing the event’s position as a global meeting point for animal protein,” highlights ABPA President Ricardo Santin.
