Cobb Vantress presents the most profitable poultry genetic package on the market at SIAVS

Proven performance genetics and a trusted business partner. With these two pillars, Cobb Vantress, the world’s oldest poultry genetics company still in operation, will take part in the International Animal Protein Exhibition SIAVS from August 6 to 8 in São Paulo. To reinforce its commitment to feeding the world, the company will maintain its traditional booth at the event, number 56, with the presence of its technical and commercial teams, welcoming clients and partners.

This year, the company’s booth will also host a large delegation of poultry business leaders and professionals from Peru. Cobb Vantress’ Technical Service team will be available to clients and visitors to address key questions related to increased profitability and improved performance of broilers and breeders.

“Today we can state that we offer one of the most profitable genetic packages on the market, proven by the results achieved by numerous companies across Latin America and Canada. Our birds are the result of intensive innovation and a strong genetic base, ensuring the best financial outcomes for our customers. This is our commitment to all companies that trust our work,” explains Bernardo Gallo, Vice President of Cobb LatCan.

According to comparisons carried out by the company based on real field results from multiple clients, the average advantages of the CobbMale genetic package deliver an improvement of more than two points in Adjusted Feed Conversion, resulting in lower live bird costs. In addition, it delivers the heaviest bird on the market, with an average daily weight gain that is more than two grams higher compared to other genetic lines, increasing total revenue for poultry operations. These factors can generate savings of approximately BRL 3 million per year, considering an average slaughter volume of one million birds per week.

Additional advantages of the Cobb genetic package include the highest body weight on the market and superior breast yield, which allow slaughter to be anticipated by up to two days. This enables the industry to maximize production efficiency, use fewer resources, improve sustainability and increase profitability throughout the value chain.

“When we talk about gaining two days in slaughter age, we are referring to a more efficient production process with positive results achieved in a shorter time frame. In poultry production, these figures translate directly into higher profitability and competitiveness,” says the Vice President of Cobb LatCan.

Bernardo Gallo also highlights the importance of customer Technical Service and the company’s team of specialists. “They are essential to unlocking the full genetic potential and delivering profitability and efficiency to our clients, far beyond product differences. In addition, our Quality and Health Assurance processes for our flocks are a key differentiator, generating benefits not only in the short term but also in the medium and long term, with consistency throughout the supply chain. That is why we emphasize that Cobb is more than genetics, it is having a partner you can rely on,” Gallo concludes.
