Business Panel discusses the future of proteins at SIAVS

Panel will bring together five of the world’s largest animal protein companies to debate the future of the sector

Representatives from five of the largest animal protein companies in Brazil and worldwide will take part in a panel on the future of global animal protein trade during the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS), the largest event in the sector in Brazil, which will take place from August 6 to 8 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo.

Confirmed participants include the CEO of Alibem, José Roberto Goulart; the Executive Director of Livestock at JBS Seara and President of the Santa Catarina Poultry Association (ACAV), José Antônio Ribas Junior; the Director of International Relations at Minerva Foods, João Sampaio; the Vice President of Livestock and Quality at BRF, Fábio Duarte Stumpf; and the Director of MCassab, Mário Sérgio Cutait. 

During the panel, business leaders will discuss scenarios and perspectives on the future of Brazil’s animal protein production chain and the global context of poultry, swine, cattle, fish and egg proteins, including issues related to sustainability, competitiveness and other key topics.

“We brought together representatives from some of the largest global companies in the animal protein sector to share their own insights on the path that animal protein production and consumption are expected to follow in the coming years. This considers not only the consumption landscape, but also competitiveness,” highlights Ricardo Santin, President of ABPA, who will moderate the panel.
