SIAVS becomes the hub of Brazil’s poultry genetics sector

Trade show will bring together all poultry genetics companies operating in Brazil

São Paulo, June 28, 2024. With an expansion of more than 50 percent in its commercial exhibition area, the International Animal Protein Show, SIAVS, scheduled to take place from August 6 to 8 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo, will feature full participation from Brazil’s poultry genetics sector.

As the largest trade show in the sector in the country, SIAVS will position itself in this edition as the national hub for poultry genetics by bringing together all genetics companies operating in the Brazilian market. These companies supply great grandparents, grandparents, breeders and day old chicks, operating in Brazil and exporting to several countries across the Americas, Africa and Asia.

In this context, in addition to the strong presence of Brazilian poultry industry clients, SIAVS will also host representatives from countries that import Brazilian poultry genetics.

According to Ricardo Santin, President of ABPA, the full participation of genetics companies, a hallmark of the event since its first edition, reinforces SIAVS’s strategic role as a key platform for fostering sector development.

“Bringing genetics companies together in a space with broad participation from the entire production chain is one of the commercial principles upheld since the inception of SIAVS. This has become even stronger this year with the expansion of exhibition areas for these companies at the event. It will be an opportunity not only for Brazilian clients, but also for potential importers who understand and demand the role of Brazil’s poultry genetics as an export platform,” Santin notes.
