Major brands of chicken, pork, beef, eggs and farmed fish such as tilapia, found on supermarket shelves throughout Brazil, will take part from August 6 to 8 in the International Animal Protein Show, SIAVS, the largest event in the sector in Brazil, which will be held at the brand new Anhembi District in São Paulo.

In total, more than 100 brands will be present at SIAVS, representing over 70 slaughterhouses and animal protein producing farms from across Brazil. These include agribusiness companies affiliated with ABPA, as well as the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association, ABIEC, and the Brazilian Fish Farming Association, Peixe BR.

The companies will participate in their own dedicated spaces, exclusive booths, or through pavilions specially structured to host meetings and business matchmaking sessions taking place during SIAVS.

In addition to representatives from supermarkets, cash and carry retailers and other segments focused on domestic supply, traders and international clients of Brazilian meat and egg producers are also expected to attend. It is worth noting that Brazil is the world’s largest exporter of chicken meat and beef, as well as the fourth largest exporter of pork.

“SIAVS will feature a broad program of activities for clients of slaughterhouses and farms associated with ABPA, ABIEC and Peixe BR, whether focused on the domestic market or exports.
