With a new brand and a new name, SIAVS 2024 establishes a new strategy with a presence across multiple animal protein sectors.
São Paulo, September 12, 2023 – With a new brand and a new name, the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2024) surpassed the 90 percent mark in exhibition space sales this week, according to the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA).
According to ABPA President Ricardo Santin, the 2024 edition of the event has been expanded by 35 percent compared to the previous edition, with an area of nearly 25,000 square meters.
“With the space already sold to date, it would be possible to hold an edition larger than the one held in 2022, which was already a record in both size and attendance. This confirms the sector’s confidence in the new SIAVS, which is expected to be historic and to expand its role as a major meeting point for the animal protein production chain, both due to its size and the expected audience from domestic and international markets,” Santin says.
With just under 12 months to go before the event, SIAVS organization is already at an advanced stage, with several initiatives underway. A new brand has been defined, highlighting the addition of new protein segments to the event, including beef cattle, dairy and farmed fish. This rebranding has expanded the event’s strategic positioning, encompassing the various production chains that are now part of SIAVS.
Traditional initiatives such as special projects, SIAVS Talks and other actions will be incorporated into the event’s restructuring, which will feature a program focused on the most current sector-related issues.
According to José Perboyre, administrative director of ABPA and also commercial director of SIAVS, the 2024 edition of SIAVS will be held at the New Distrito Anhembi, which will have its entire structure renovated and updated to host events of the scale of ABPA’s show.
“The address remains the same, but it will be a completely renewed event, with the excellent business opportunities that have always defined SIAVS, hosted in the most modern events venue in Brazil’s events capital,” he emphasizes.
