On the morning of the second day of SIAVS, the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) held the Agribusiness Image panel, focused on discussing the image challenges faced by Brazilian production abroad and the importance of reputation building for agribusiness deals.
The panel was moderated by Sarah Kirchhof and featured Augusto Pestana, President of ApexBrasil, Sula Alves, Technical Director at ABPA, and Ibiapaba Netto, Executive Director representing CitrusBR.
The discussion presented the country’s strategies to strengthen the image of Brazilian agribusiness in the global market and the approaches used to reinforce the positive perception of sustainable production and the quality of Brazilian products in the global food market.
Among the reputation challenges addressed were cultural fit and shared social values to be delivered as differentiators in global negotiations.
According to Augusto Pestana, the pandemic and the war worsened the energy security situation, especially in Europe, and the maintenance of relations between countries will now be decisive to encourage production and development.
The program continues with exhibition visits and lectures on August 10 and 11. Visit www.siavs.com.br to learn more.
