Sector Logistics Is the Focus of SIAVS 2022

Challenges related to Brazilian logistics and infrastructure will be discussed at the International Poultry and Swine Show (SIAVS), the largest event in the sectors in Brazil, to be held from August 9 to 11 at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo, SP.

Scheduled for August 10, Wednesday, the seminar moderated by José Perboyre, coordinator of the Logistics Group of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association ABPA, will feature a presentation by the National Secretary of Land Transportation, Felipe Fernandez Queiroz.

The presentation will be followed by a debate bringing together representatives from the logistics sector of poultry and swine agribusiness companies. Confirmed participants in the debate include Osvaldo Filho from Seara Alimentos and Jaison Antônio Cardoso from Cooperativa Central Aurora.

“The poultry and swine sectors faced severe challenges throughout the pandemic, resulting from a global scenario that led to a sharp increase in international logistics costs. In this context, we want to discuss a future vision to strengthen the competitiveness of the export sector, especially in light of the new demands imposed on the country,” says Perboyre.
