The International Poultry and Swine Show SIAVS is just around the corner. It is the largest event for Brazil’s poultry, swine and egg production and export chain and will take place from August 9 to 11 at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo, SP.
With 7 days to go before the gates open, the largest trade show of the poultry and swine animal protein agribusiness is already breaking records.
Growing more than 30 percent compared to its last edition in 2019 and doubling in size compared to the 2017 edition, SIAVS 2022 will feature more than 200 companies and organizations across over 20,000 square meters of exhibition space.
All major equipment companies for the sector, genetic companies, laboratories, feed producers and service providers will take part in the show, along with nearly 50 agribusiness companies from the poultry, swine, egg, farmed fish, beef cattle and dairy sectors, as well as the buffalo sector.
By bringing together companies from all links of the production chain, SIAVS 2022 is expected to welcome purchasing decision makers from slaughterhouses, integrated and independent producers, importers from target markets for Brazilian proteins, wholesale and retail supermarket chains, among other sector stakeholders.
SIAVS 2022 will also feature the participation of Banco do Brasil and Caixa Econômica Federal. With special credit lines for the agribusiness audience, the financial institutions will bring mobile service units that will be stationed within the exhibition area.
According to the Brazilian Animal Protein Association ABPA, organizer of SIAVS 2022, more than 20,000 visitors from 50 countries are expected.
“SIAVS 2022 will offer several exclusive attractions focused on encouraging technology adoption, innovation and development in the animal protein sector. Millions of reais in business are expected during the event, which will mark the return of the largest poultry and swine industry event,” says ABPA president Ricardo Santin.

LAUNCHES: The largest trade show in the sectors in Brazil will bring together technology and service launches aimed at animal protein production chains, from farms and production units to processing plants, in addition to the exclusive participation of animal protein producing and exporting agribusiness companies. In other words, all links of the production chain in one single venue.
MULTI PROTEINS: In addition to poultry, swine, egg and genetic material companies, this edition of SIAVS will also include companies from the farmed fish, beef cattle, dairy and buffalo sectors. The participation format is similar to that of major international trade shows, promoting business meetings with domestic clients and potential importers. Partner entities will also hold meetings with national and international stakeholders.
SIAVS TALKS: A new initiative at the event, SIAVS Talks will bring together business incubators, research institutions, academics and industry executives in an exclusive area within the exhibition hall. With presentations inspired by the TED format, short talks averaging 40 minutes, SIAVS Talks will spread good ideas by showcasing innovative initiatives within the sector or related to the production chain.
SIAVS EXPERIENCE: Designed to promote an immersive journey through the production chain, SIAVS Experience will feature an area of more than 70 square meters dedicated exclusively to the experience. It will include multiple giant LED screens in a mirror maze, as well as a room with mapped projection creating a three dimensional optical illusion. The experience is completed with sound design and the scent of wet earth, strategically released by diffusers throughout the space. The experience will be guided by presentations about the sectors, high quality production, Brazil’s role as a partner in global food security, and the importance of overcoming barriers to food production and distribution worldwide.
