Sustainability, animal health, and farm environment will be on the agenda
An exclusive attraction of the International Poultry and Swine Exhibition SIAVS, held from August 9 to 11 at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo, the traditional Producer Project will now carry the “Integrated Family” signature, an initiative of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association ABPA focused on the development of poultry and swine farms across the country.
Renewed to address new farm demands, the “Integrated Family” Producer Project will bring together poultry, swine, and egg producers from all over Brazil for training sessions covering topics related to farm environment, animal health, and key issues for farm sustainability.
Prominent names in agribusiness will be present, including rural producer Luciane Dalmagro, producer and influencer Chris Morais, veterinary specialists Paulo Pelissaro (Seara Alimentos), José Luís Januário (Cobb Vantress), Marcos Dai Pra (BRF), and institutional relations representative from Pif Paf, Claudio Faria.
Topics of the Producer Project—which in 2019 brought over 1,600 producers from across Brazil to the event—will include best practices for salmonella control, early management and farm environment, and sustainability from the producer’s perspective.
“With the Integrated Family seal, the Producer Project enters a new phase and will address issues focused not only on sector demands but also on the specific needs of individual farms,” highlights ABPA president Ricardo Santin.
The event is open to poultry, swine, and egg producers, both integrated and independent. Registrations can be made via email at congresso@abpa-br.org .
