#SIAVS2022 Is Also MULTIPROTEINS

Participation of farmed fish, beef cattle and dairy sectors

Expanding opportunities for multiple production chains, SIAVS International Poultry and Swine Exhibition, held from August 9 to 11 at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo, will present this year SIAVS MultiProteins, a dedicated attraction within the largest poultry and swine trade fair in Brazil.

The initiative, conceived by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association ABPA, will be carried out in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency ApexBrasil.

In addition to companies from the poultry, swine, egg and genetic material sectors, this edition of SIAVS will also include companies from farmed fish, beef cattle and dairy farming sectors. The participation format follows the model adopted at international trade fairs, with the Buyer Project, which brings in importers, and the Image Project, with foreign journalists, strengthening the global image of Brazilian animal protein.

Companies from the three additional production chains joining SIAVS, farmed fish, beef cattle and dairy, will promote business meetings with domestic market clients and potential importers. Partner entities will also hold meetings with domestic and international stakeholders.

In addition to participating in the exhibition, representatives from the farmed fish, beef cattle and dairy sectors will also take part in multi themed lectures within the SIAVS program, addressing topics of interest to the entire animal protein sector.

According to ABPA president Ricardo Santin, the initiative seeks to bring together, integrate and foster partner production chains that are directly connected to Brazil’s poultry and swine industries.

“The evolution toward SIAVS MultiProteins is the result of the presence of several companies with a multiprotein profile and also represents an excellent opportunity for importers and domestic market clients, with suppliers from all these production chains in one place. New business opportunities will be stimulated for companies operating in other sectors, consolidating the event as a meeting point for the animal protein production chain for both national and international markets,” he evaluates.

SIAVS has institutional support, among other organizations, from the Brazilian Association of Fish Farming Peixe BR, the Brazilian Dairy Association Viva Lácteos, and the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association ABIEC.
