The largest poultry and swine event in Brazil, the International Poultry and Swine Exhibition SIAVS 2022, held from August 9 to 11 at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo, will feature a special attraction for egg producers: the Ovosite Symposium, one of the main events for Brazil’s egg industry.
Scheduled for the first day of SIAVS (Tuesday, August 9), the Ovosite Symposium will focus this year on “Innovations in Egg Production,” highlighting trends for domestic marketing and export opportunities in the sector.
Major industry leaders have been confirmed for this edition, including Leandro Pinto, president of Grupo Mantiqueira; Ricardo Faria, president of Granja Faria; Anderson Herbert, director of Naturovos; and John Freshel, regional director for Latin America at Big Dutchman. The session will be moderated by Otávio Ceschi Júnior, host of Canal Terra Viva.
Organized in partnership with Editora Mundo Agro, the Ovosite Symposium is already recognized as a benchmark event for the egg sector in Brazil. Ricardo Santin, president of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association ABPA and of the board of the Instituto Ovos Brasil IOB, emphasizes the importance of the initiative.
“The Symposium is a trend-setting event for a sector that has been growing and transforming exponentially over the past decade. Renowned industry leaders were invited to this edition with the purpose of sharing insights and building new perspectives for one of the most important production chains for the country’s food security,” Santin notes.
Entrance to the Ovosite Symposium is free for SIAVS attendees. Learn more about the event at www.siavs.com.br .
